Job Description


SUMMARY


This position provides exceptional customer service and actively sells to the customer while following through on store operational tasks. Maintains good visual displays and a neat, clean, and well presented store. .




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



+ Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.


+ Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements


+ Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping


+ Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock


+ Aid customers in locating merchandise


+ Communicate customer requests to management


+ Assist in completing price changes within the department


+ Participate in year-end inventory and cycle counts


+ Assist in ringing up sales at registers and/or bagging merchandise





QUALIFICATIONS


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



+ Previous retail or service-oriented experience preferred but not required


+ Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed


+ Regularly interacts with the public in an often crowded and noisy interactive store environment


+ Ability to work with a team to exceed sales results
